Eighteen years of history

PorkExpo is turning eighteen years and will promote, once again, the meeting of the most renowned national and international speakers of the industry, in addition to thousands of breeders, researchers, executives, professors and professionals of the swine industry from a number of countries.

‘PorkExpo & International Swine Industry Congress’ was born in 2002, in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, and over the years has consolidated itself as the largest event of the swine industry in the world, bringing together exhibitors from Brazil and up to forty countries at a time.

With a highly qualified audience, it provides a unique occasion for companies to promote their products and services. It is as well an exceptional opportunity for businesses looking to strengthen their brand and presence in the Brazilian and Latin-American markets.

Participants are manufacturers and suppliers in the fields of Genetics, Nutrition, Transport and Logistics, Animal Health, Services, Management Software, Equipment, Storage, Materials, Seeds and Grains, Veterinary Products, Artificial Insemination and Laboratory Equipment.

In the first editions, ‘Pork’, as it came to be affectionately called, was held over three days, mobilizing more than fifteen thousand people in forty lectures, all of which delivered with world-class simultaneous translation into Spanish, English and Portuguese. And it marked a new era for a productive chain by then out of the circuit of major Agribusiness events and trade fairs in Brazil. Always held in Paraná, one of the three biggest pork producing states in Brazil, Pork brought together more than sixty exhibiting companies in each edition, achieving a growth of at least 30% every two years. And it got to be held in Curitiba, capital city of Paraná, on two occasions.

PorkExpo innovates non-stop and always invests in marketing, in the relationship with customers and partners, seeking the best results for all the actors of the swine industry that participate in it. Now, PorkExpo enters a new decade, more renewed than ever, adapted to the new times, modernized and with a complete and organic schedule to present two days of debates on the topic ‘2022 – The Beginning of a New Decade of Innovations for the Swine Industry’.
